KruseCom Announces Profitable Take-Out of Large Tape Systems

KruseCom, LLC, the company that Buys, Sells, and Maintains Enterprise IT, today announced completion of a tape library take-out project for a Florida hospital system. The equipment removed consisted of multiple tape library systems, including products like the StorageTek SL8500 Modular Library System from Oracle, the StorageTek Virtual Storage Manager system from Oracle, and IBM 3490-E11 tape drives. KruseCom’s Remarketing Revenue Share Program enables organizations to safely recover the value of their used Information Technology assets. KruseCom’s multiple outbound sales channels enable the company to capture maximum value of the customer’s used assets.

Court Alton, Business Development Manager of KruseCom, commented, “We were honored to be selected by this major regional institution to responsibly remove and remarket these libraries. KruseCom frequently gets called on when heavy metal IT equipment is involved. One base unit of the SL8500 alone weighs over 4,300 pounds. It’s not a job that every reseller could handle.”
